Geesaman claimed an unexpected win in the district, following his campaign attacks on Kitzman.

Incumbent State Rep. Stan Kitzman (R-Pattison) lost his Republican primary race Tuesday night to challenger Dennis “Goose” Geesaman, according to results from the Texas Secretary of State.

Geesaman secured 57% of the vote, receiving 13,808 votes out of 24,254 total ballots cast, while Kitzman received 43%. READ MORE
